Nancy was referred to me by a dear friend, whose daughter had worked with Nancy previously and found great success. Having never worked with a career coach, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had just finished a 19 year run as the Executive Assistant and right hand to the Vice Chairman of a global bank, as well as maintaining my passion as a professional actress and singer. When my boss retired, I felt myself at a crossroads. I decided to leave as well, though not clear at all about what I wanted to do next. I wanted to figure out some way of leveraging my acting and singing talents with my business experience, but I had no clue where to even begin to look. While grieving my former “home,” I knew I needed to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but I still couldn’t find home (or hope) anywhere. Enter Nancy.

During my systematic career assessment process with Nancy, she led me through various self excavating exercises which began to remove my blocks to career/life clarity. Her methodology not only helped me define many of my natural talents and skills, purpose, values and career satisfiers, it provided focus and accountability for my identifying my future direction. She guided me to see myself, my personal history, and my personality much more clearly than I would have ever done on my own. None of this was particularly easy, mind you. But, with Nancy’s steadfast support, I was able to open my mind to possibilities which never occurred to me, and I’m convinced would not have occured to me without our work together. Once we began to truly hone in on my new direction, opportunities began presenting themselves. I am now on my way to providing value to a global top tier leadership development and training consulting firm, which utilizes leadership theatre to develop client skill sets. I’m excited to have found a role that leverages both my stage and performing work as a creative with my business savvy from corporate banking experience.
