Nancy was invaluable in helping me navigate my transition from college as I did not like the software engineering path on which I was going and did not see how I could leverage my experience for other types of positions. Nancy first helped me by clarifying what I liked and disliked through a needs and values exercise as well as through writing about my peak performance. This helped to clarify what types of roles and companies I should be considering. By creating a personal marketing plan, I was able to more effectively convey my job targets to people with whom I networked. Nancy’s work with me on STAR stories helped me frame my experiences in technical roles as well as in leadership roles in my fraternity and my student business to create a strong image of why my hard and soft skills would be so valuable to an employer. Lastly, Nancy’s KTF tool (Keep The Focus) helped me keep myself on track towards my goals every week by helping me ensure I devoted time to my new job search as I was working as a tutor.
